Mizu Japanese Steak House and Sushi

Great service and food! I thought I left my glasses there but they reassured me they didn’t find anything. I was super upset about it but they were so polite to me and even asked the other employees if they saw them, later found them in the car. But food was amazing and hibachi show cook was super funny and nice.

Great experience and very conviniently located. We had two selections of sushi and one of sea-food yakisoba. Very delicious selections.

"I had an amazing time at Mizu! The chef had us cracking up the whole time with his tricks – it was so much fun. Plus, they kept the free sake flowing, which made the night even better. Service was okay, she even surprised us by singing a birthday song for one of my friends, which was a really nice touch. The portions were huge and super tasty. Perfect spot for a fun night out with family and friends. Definitely coming back!"

My wife & I came for dinner and it was just okay. The food was bland and had literally no seasoning. The noodles were nasty. The soup was the best part. It was affordable. It was $70 for both of us.The cook was good and did a nice show for us. I probably wouldn’t come again though.

So, judging by the many times I've visited this restaurant. It seems like a roll of the dice for the type of experience you'll get in reference to the hibachi dinner option. Sometimes you can get a cook who will put on a show like they enjoy their job. They interact with the customers in a positive way and it can be a lot of fun. For any age group. On the other hand, my last few visits have been mediocre to awful. In some cases the cook seems too focused on finishing the job getting out of there. So he doesn't present the same quality of entertainment as other cooks. It's disappointing when I payed $96 for 3 people to half enjoy my visit. There's a part of the show where they try to throw food into your mouth by slide of spatula. Some occasions depending on the cook they get it spot on and we're able to catch it and it's great fun. However this last visit it felt as if the cook was in a bad mood and just threw the food at us seemingly not trying to aim for our mouths at all. Like mocking his customers. Overall my rating is based on the declining quality aspect of this establishment. I used to have a good time and enjoy the company of other diners, as well as the cook. The first few visits were great and now I don't feel the same. I just miss the times back when customers were appreciated. Not robbed. It'll be long while until the next time plan to visit again. Such a disappointment.

Service was mostly good. I can’t speak for the hibachi but the rest of the food was disappointing. If you know good Japanese and Asian food, don’t go here. I don’t recommend, especially for the price.

And don’t get the shumai, it’s obviously some cheap frozen kind.

Miguel was in place of the Main Chef! And to my Surprise ? it was amazing ? Sunrise Roll Magic Roll and very clean fresh and comfortable atmosphere even if you choose to sit by yourself at the Sushi Bar!

Service is way below average. We were a party of 3 ordered a seaweed salad that clearly states on the menu that is just seaweed with seasoning and sesame oil. We received our “seaweed” salad that turned out to be a sprinkle over a ton of iceberg lettuce so in all reality the seaweed is more of a garnish and when we asked out server she stated all salads came out that way. It’s false advertisement on the menu, and it makes the bowl look full when they drop it off to then realize that you’re paying $7 for a bowl of ice burg lettuce. Sushi was average- Publix could make it better. Will not be returning.

I come here every so often with my boyfriend when we’re feeling hungry for something yummy and affordable. They offer hibachi but we always do table. Service is soooo fast and the food is always hot and delicious. The waitresses are always ready for you. And the portions are large.
