This place perplexes me. They have really good food. Brisket tacos are amazing. Servers are kind of meh. Theres never anyone here. Customers seem to be missing. No idea.

Big fan of this chain. My family and I used to go to the one in Tallahassee when it was open there and had many great experiences there. Anytime I am near the area here I love to drop in and get something to eat here. Chips are always great and even though Queso Fundido isn't on the menu anymore they will still make it if you ask them to. Good food, good service.

A large amount of food for the price and very friendly staff but the service was quite slow. The premium margarita tiro is not margaritas but three different flavors which is a waste when laying for upgraded tequila. All the flavorings were too sweet.

It's unfortunate as I love On the Border but this one is just not welcoming. For example anytime I order live guacamole it appears to be a hassle. They are always out of many of the dishes and anytime we've gone it has been super slow. I believe the problems are management issues and it's trickled down to an unhappy staff.

This was a quick stop for us last minute. The children were hungry, as were the adults. The kids meals were HUGE. About the same size as mine. The prices were reasonable (considering inflation). It was a lot of food!! Our server was lovely and the place was spotless. Overall, I would do this again. Enjoy it

This was the worst service I've ever experienced in a restaurant. In an empty restaurant with a dozen plus staff all over, we sat for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We ordered drinks....15 minutes later they still hadn't come. Manager saw us. Bussers saw us. Bartender saw us. It's like all of them wanted the server to fail.

What a joke! Avoid this place at all cost!!!
From the bartender to the manger, no one knows how to do things properly! Marcie was nice, but slow to move. Cheryl, the manager made excuses for the "new margarita" recipe and for her kitchen staff. We ordered steak & chicken fajitas, steak came out well done - we ordered it rare. Steak was so over done and burnt (tasted like carcinogens).
We will not be back due to the very disappointing experience!!

I recently visited On the Border Mexican Grill and had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was bland and poorly made, the drinks tasted off, and the service was disappointing. Despite there only being about 10 people in the entire restaurant, the staff kept saying they were “busy.” It felt like they just weren’t interested in providing good service. Overall, nothing was up to par, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I expected so much better, but I left feeling completely let down.

Service was lacking. the server offered to take orders numerous times shortly after arriving but was oblivious as to the fact that there were no utensils or napkins. Once we requested, we had to wait a looooooooong time to get them. The kicker is it was a Sunday night, and we were the only ones in that part of the dining area.

I was extremely disappointed in the meal here. I came inside to order carry out, I ordered the shrimp bowl and my husband ordered Guacamole live. It took at least 20 minutes and the food finally came out, there was only one other table in the restaurant. I asked to speak to a manager because I was so upset after waiting my order was incorrect. One side of dressing, no limes I asked for and we had the regular guacamole. I asked to speak to the manager and if there is anything I cannot stand more than having my order wrong is a lack of accountability! She argued with me that we had to order the guacamole live which we did, my husband specifically said if it doesn’t look like that picture I don’t want it. I told her I waited a while for one small bowl and the order came out wrong. She told me nothing was wrong except the limes missing, the sauce and the wrong guacamole, definitely something weird to say. She remade the guacamole wrong, it’s suppose to come with seasoning and jalapeños yet that was missing, my shrimp bowl was not prepared nice at all, the shrimp was cold after waiting a while and it just wasn’t what was advertised. I usually don’t complain but this was all around bad, my first time trying this restaurant. It’s so frustrating going out to spend your money and just wanting a nice meal and everything comes out so disappointing. The manager needs to learn good customer service and taking accountability when something is clearly wrong, not arguing and getting rude with customers when the restaurant is wrong, even if it is one, two or however many things missing. People come out to spend their money on a good meal and service and at this location it is just not it. I would love to try this restaurant again with my family, smelled great, atmosphere was nice but at this point I’m not sure if it is the company itself or that particular location that I never want to give business to again.

It's obvious they are on a skeleton crew tonight, but waiting an hour for food when they place is half capacity rough.
