Always a wonderful experience. However, I did feel that the prices had jumped considerably to last time we were there ( about 8 months ago) and the portion size had not changed. So as long as you are prepared for that definitely worth going. And of course in the beach so beautiful location. .
This place was highly recommended by a friend, we didn't look elsewhere. That said, it was a perfect spot to eat outside and enjoy the views and sunset. The food was great and the drinks were very good. Service was less than expected by our server, the other servers seemed to be more engaging than our guy. They did provide a military discount.
We live locally and had family in town who wanted to eat at the beach. The Sandbar has one thing going for it - location and views of the ocean. Food was average at best. We had 2 groups for a total of 12 people and no one was impressed by their meal. Examples: crab dip appetizer tasted like bar food, lobster roll not very flavorful, even the snapper was sub—par. Very disappointing for what we paid. If you have a large group you are seated at round tables of 4 making interactions...
