We love this restaurant however I was disappointed at their New Years Eve dinner. Food was fine and service was great but I fell for what we paid there should have been more, like more festive items a glass of champagne offered to celebrate the new year other than more food options there was nothing that said Happy New Years!
Excellent food as always but the queues for the cooked food were way too long. By the time you got to carvery the food on the plate had become cold. Too many people for the speed of service, spoilt the night.
We dined at Villa de Flora for the New Year's Eve buffet as a couple with a 10-month-old baby, and overall it was a very positive and memorable experience. We specifically requested a quieter and more relaxed seating area, and the restaurant accommodated us perfectly. The atmosphere was calm enough that our baby was able to sleep peacefully for most of the evening, which made a huge difference for us.
