This was our family's first trip to Anna Maria Island. My brother found this restaurant in a tourist book. The dishes we tried were the Red Snapper, Skirt Steak, Salmon, and Bacon Cheeseburger. Red Snapper was a little disappointing as it lacked flavor. Salmon wasn't cooked as we would have liked however, Aaron was quick to take it back. Pool adjacent bar. Totally adequate. Not sure if they have servers running to poolside or not because every single time we went to the pools, they closed because of rain/weather. So, Sandbar is a great refuge for waiting out the daily pop-up storms.We tried a watermelon-cucumber-vodka drink. We watch the bartender make them and let me tell you, they were some mighty strong drinks. Don't know how many oz. of Tito's but it tasted like a LOT!

Surprisingly excellent food for the quick sandbar experience it is. I enjoyed great service sitting at the bar, a delish fish sandwich and tasty spicy marg. The only grossness was that the bar wasn’t super wiped down and bees were flying everywhere trying to get to the sugary marg machines. Anyway, great experience and would come back.
