Sorry to say that our visit here was less than good. Bacon was overdone on the edges (literally black) muffin was so dry that when you took a bite it fell apart into crumbs. Hopefully it was an off day but honestly the black edges on the bacon should never have been served...at least ask if that's ok or not before giving it to the customer. I found the prices on the high side of things but if the breakfast is exceptional I don't have a problem with that. There were 4 of us and nobody thought their breakfast was exceptional.

Had an early morning doctor appointment so right after, we needed food and Darrell's Diner came to mind. Have been here once before for lunch, so breakfast was on our minds. I ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy with two eggs and my wife had the two egg breakfast with her crispy bacon, toast and hash browns. Could have had American fries or grits, but hash browns was the selection today. Service was prompt, even though most tables were filled with customers, and their coffee was drinkable. All told, a pleasant experience

What a great diner for breakfast. Food was fabulous. Staff was friendly and engaging. I will definitely be returning next time I am in town.

Food was below mediocre. I got breakfast and the eggs and corned beef hash were both basically burned to a crisp. They charged $1.36 to add a pinch of cheese to the eggs and almost $4 for a side of gravy. $22 for one person is INSANE here. I'm honestly still upset about the money wasted at this place.
