Escudo's Bar & Grill offers a lively atmosphere with great staff and good views, plus live music. The food and drinks are delicious. Breakfast starts at 10:00 and ends at Noon, with only 5 items and no servers; the chicken sausage is surprisingly the best part. As a pool side snack, the shrimp tacos have a delicious spicy slaw with fresh shrimp, though a bit overpriced with slow service. The chicken tacos feature fresh jalapeno. The format change is disappointing, with ordering reminiscent of fast food and a lack of table service, but the food is still good and the staff is great. A small area with limited seating exists. When a crow swooped down and stole a daughter’s fries, a bartender gave her a free slushie drink, showing excellent customer service. Everything from breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, burgers, fries, and pasta dishes is available. The restaurant is an onsite resort option, with no need to drive off the property.
