“My first visit was today for lunch and I had their special of any two slices of pizza and a soda. I love that they don’t limit you to just cheese or pepperoni. I had the stuffed pizza and the buffalo chicken and it was amazing. I also tried the garlic knots which were magnificent. Very friendly family run business and I couldn’t recommend it more! Check out this hidden gem in Lake Helen.”

“We went to DeLeon Springs Bar and Grill on Saturday, and honestly—it’s a true hidden gem. The atmosphere has that rare, welcoming “public house” feel you usually only find in places like Ireland or Scotland. It’s warm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable, like you’ve been there a dozen times already. What makes it even more special is that it’s run by just two people, and they were absolutely crushing it. You can tell there’s real care behind everything they do. The food? Fantastic across the board. The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also had the shrimp and the truffle fries, and both were beyond our expectation—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. On top of that, the conversation and overall experience made the night even better. It’s one of those places you don’t just eat at, you enjoy being there. We’ll definitely be making regular trips back. Don’t sleep on this spot! This is a true hidden gem in DeLeon Springs.”

“We love this place! The owner and staff are all so welcoming and friendly that you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The drinks are excellent and unique as they're wine-based spirits, creating a twist on the classics. We've gone as a small group for a few drinks, and we went to a private party that rented out the space. I highly recommend Amour Du Vin either to grab some drinks in a chill environment or to rent for a private party venue!”

“We stopped in here today on a whim. The second we walked in, the place was lively and buzzing with energy. We sat down at the bar and quickly realized we’d just joined Josh’s party. Josh wasn’t simply bartending, he was keeping up with regulars, making new connections with first time guest, and pouring great beer all the while. During his busy shift, he made time to ask us questions and genuinely get to know us. Hospitality like this, where you walk into an establishment and feel like you became part of a community, is hard to come by these days, but that’s exactly what Central 28 offers. And that’s largely because Josh is behind the bar. I live 30 minutes away and would happily make the trek over and over to experience the vibe in this place. Can’t wait for our next visit!”

“PROTECT THIS WOMAN'S BUSINESS AT ALL COST! She's such a kind hearted, and caring person who looks out for the community and serves everything with a smile. The cost of her meals are just unheard of these days. You can get a well satisfied meal for under $10! Don't get me started on her empanadas, they have to be ranked best empanadas in central Florida! I have family members that travel just to have her empanadas. They are stuffed!!! Does not cheap out on her food. Keep giving her support she takes pride in her craft 🙏🏾”
