Ordered the 1 lb, 85 day dry-aged NY Strip stake in medium rare. It was as jucy as the day it died. The chef blackened one side, but being quite thick, was able to slice off the burned side. Other than that, impeccable service, nice atmosphere. I may be in the minority, but especially a dry aged stake should only come with salt. My bad for forgetting to ask.
We are from Houston Texas and we have some of the Best restaurants. Crab cakes I'd rate a 2 as I thought terrible flavor & terrible either old crabmeat or canned. Definitely not fresh lump crab meat. In Houston=Eddie V, Vic& Anthony, Balboa SurfClub, Etc. 5 star lump crab cakes. Lobster tempura = average would have been delicious with a warm garlic butter sauce. The chef cut 3 small pieces but then 1 big long piece = they should have been equal in size. Milk Bread...
From the moment we walked in, the service was nothing short of excellent. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food was exceptional, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The drinks were delicious, wine was superb. Being able to enjoy a great establishment in our own backyard, rather then drive around town, is always a benefit. We are regulars and will continue to be.
