I had an absolute blast at Memories of India in Lake Mary.

I met the owner, Chef Philip, at my bar a few weeks ago and promised him I would come visit. Promise kept, and I’m so glad I did.

I ordered the mango lassi, lamb chops, naan, chicken masala, and homemade mango ice cream. Every single thing was delicious.

At one point, Philip turned the corner and caught me trying to eat the food like a sandwich. He quickly corrected me 😂

Here are the steps he gave me:

1. Dip the naan in the sauce.
2. Use it to grab little hunks of meat.
3. If you have bread left over, use it with the rice.

Simple. Delicious. 💕

The lamb was tender, the flavors were dynamic, the atmosphere was warm, and the staff made the whole experience feel welcoming and intimate.

The food here is great, but so is other Indian restaurant in the area. The reason we go here so often is because of Mora, he's an absolute pleasure of a server. He learns your name and remembers your order. What a gentleman. We aren't very fond of the owner but we keep going back because of the food and Mora's service.

Once I ordered samosa chaat here; we got a bowl of chickpeas, very lightly spiced. No sauce, no toppings.

We hired Philip and his restaurant to cater for my son’s wedding. We had three events that they catered to and I can tell you the food was absolutely out of this world. The service was fantastic. We had over 340 people at the wedding and every one of them complimented Philip on the taste of the food the presentation and everything else his food was rated A+++++++. If you need someone to cater your special event, I would definitely call Philip and use them. We certainly will be using him again and again.

The waiter brought me the wrong food and then said I'll give you desert free when it was part of menu.
