We were seated right at the entry. There should not be a table there. Service was lackluster. I had to go find my server to ask for things that I shouldn't have had to ask for ie: Plates, cocktail sauce that should have come with shrimp for two of our party.

The salad bar, while confusing in its setup, tasted very good. My salmon was good, it could have easily been plated more nicely.

GC has a bad rap for a cheap buffet. This place was higher end looking with great food. The have a soup and salad bar buffet but order main meals from the menu. I'll be back and I haven't been to a GC in 15 yrs.

I cant wrap my head around the changes. If it aint broke dont fix it. I miss rhe buffet that was the Golden Coral staple. The food was good as usual but not having the full buffet is a downer. The new method is a minimal buffet with a choice of meat that comes as a single serving. I hope they dont do this with all the other restaurants.

They told us it would be 15 min to be seated which it was but then we waited 2 hrs to get our food. The food was good but not outstanding for the price you pay. Salad bar is basic.

The food was average. The waitress who served us was excellent. The atmosphere was too loud, with twangy music piped in at hair dryer levels that required people to speak even louder to communicate. Not a buffet restaurant; very limited choices to keep any full meal under $20.

Traveling through the area and stopped for lumper! The gator tail was absolutely the most tender that I have ever eaten. The salmon blackened was very good also.
If we are ever traveling through this area I would most definitely stop and eat there again
