Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs in Lake Placid offers a welcoming environment with friendly staff like Vicky and Lacy who provide knowledgeable and kind service. Customers appreciate the delicious food, including pizza and subs, with some noting the use of real cheese and tasty flavors. First-time visitors find the staff helpful in explaining the menu, making their experience enjoyable. The menu features a variety of options such as the Hungry Howie Special with extra sauce and black olives, and the deluxe combo sub, which many customers find excellent. Although some noted a lack of black olives or sauce in their pizza, these issues did not overshadow their overall positive experience.
