Mr Sammy's Pizza is a great spot in Lake Placid with a super cozy and friendly environment. It is hands down the best NY style pizza, with perfect crust and cheese. The menu has delicious items like great pizza, great salad, and YUM breadsticks. Specific favorites include the white sauce pizza, the simple pepperoni pie, and the lunch special of a 1/2 sausage sandwich with garlic parmesan fries. The homemade marinara sauce and homemade tiramisu are also to die for. The service is excellent and spot on, with awesome people. It is a go-to spot for Italian cuisine, offering a very good experience with a great atmosphere. Many say it is their new favorite place and they will be back again and again.
