This place gets 5 Stars all the way around! Katrina and Vicky took excellent care of my family and I. We are new to the area, and upon finding that out, The Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Honestly, the Culture here in Central Florida is top tier among the U.S. and places like this restaurant are doing more than their part to make it family friendly, fun and kind! A big thank you to Lake Wales Diner/Family Resturaunt!

Hi my Name is Nelson Burgos and my wife and I just relocated to Florida from Illinois, we moved to Lake Wales last August and after settling down we began looking for neighborhood restaurants to go to enjoy ether breakfast or lunch or dinner, for breakfast we found Bob Evan’s on 27 and also found IHOP further down 27 they were both very poor in service and the food was subpar, then one day in either February or March we were driving down 60 and we spotted your restaurant, lot was full of cars so we decided we were going to stop by for breakfast and let me tell you it was the best breakfast we’ve had since moving here, when we were in Gurnee Illinois we would go to WildBerry restaurant in Libertyville , your food is just as good!! So my review is not about the food we have breakfast lunch and dinner and it’s always Great, my concern is the way we are welcomed once we are seated, like today my wife noticed the person who was told to service us wasn’t too happy about it, she wanted us to be seated in the back and when she was told that we wanted a booth she thru her hands up!! Don’t know where the negative vibe is coming from,we greet every server we have never had an issue with the service and we tip very generous, we come here multiple times a week,so like I said don’t know why the negativity! I Hope going forward this is going to stop!

This is a friendly, warm family restaurant. The food is fresh and consistently good. The prices are reasonable including a few items that have been lowered since the last time I was there.

Update..
Stopped in today may 17th 26.
had the fried catfish basket with fries and a water, traded out the coleslaw for fried okra. Had The complementary chicken noodle soup which was outstanding. &
Everything was above expectations.

Went for the breakfast menu. Everything was amazing. Best biscuits and gravy I've had in the area. The pancakes were delight. Our server Summer was on top of everything, and had a great personality.

We’ve came here for years and as always the food is superb! But special shout out to Chelsea our server for being on the ball and ensuring we and our little one were taken care of! You couldn’t find a better server and she definitely is a hidden gem!!
