I have been coming to L'Incontro Restaurant for 13 years. For me and my wife, it has never disappointed. The food is consistently delicious. The other night we ate there (Saturday evening Aug. 30) it was completely full. The service was understandably a little slower than usual but the servers were very attentive to our needs. I always recommend eating here.
The food was good but the service was slow. I think they need more servers. There didn't appear to be a hostess either and servers were doing that job as well. We had to ask for bread that was finally brought out to us without butter . When we asked for butter, it was brought out very cold and hard. Hopefully it was just a bad night for them.
We really enjoyed the food. The sauces were delicious. The service was also very good and it was quiet. A real plus for a date night. However, it was very warm. It is July but it was too warm inside, even for July. We'll be back in the winter to see if it is more comfortable. Until then, we'll pass on another visit.
