We’ve came here for years and as always the food is superb! But special shout out to Chelsea our server for being on the ball and ensuring we and our little one were taken care of! You couldn’t find a better server and she definitely is a hidden gem!!
We eat here often. In the last couple months we have seen a dramatic improvement. The new manager is a breath of fresh air and a much needed improvement.
Walked in with my wife and service dog, which has been with me there several times. Was suddenly and rudely approached by your greeter who insisted I tell him my disabilities. Which is not allowed by LAW. You are allowed to ask what service the dog provides, not a I.D. as service dogs are not required to have I.D.'s. Lake Wales Family Restaurant is a friendly, warm family restaurant. The food is fresh and consistently good, with reasonable prices including a few items that have been lowered. Great Breakfast is available, with everything being amazing; the best biscuits and gravy in the area and the pancakes were a delight. The fried catfish basket with fries and fried okra, plus the complementary chicken noodle soup, was outstanding and above expectations. The Greek omelet with hashbrowns and toast is very good, cooked just right with large portions. The lunch menu also looked good. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, providing excellent care. The culture is family friendly, fun, and kind, making this a top tier spot in Central Florida.
