Food was cold waitresses spilled water on my food and me took forever to get new plate and food was still cold overall will never go back and the lady at night put the blame on me terrible

All the food we ordered was NOT good. We were very disappointed. The meat was dry, the"creamy"coleslaw wasn't creamy, but it tasted good, (it was the only thing good even though it wasn't creamy) Anyway, not a good experience. Been there twice,first and last! But the waitress was good.

We were bummed. It was our first time we were there. The air conditioner made the restaurant very cold, we were cold the whole time. When our food came out, it was luke warm..and it quickly became cold due to the air conditioning blowing. Not our best experience with smoked bbque places. ?
Sorry guys, but this place needs a new face lift. Employees shouting across the restaurant to one another. Needs new management.

Let me start out by saying that I have eaten at almost every bbq establishment on the eastern seaboard, and woodys BBQ is the singularity in the matrix.I was sitting at my desk in my soul sucking 9-5 position as a hedge fund manager in NYC, clearing north of $300k annually, I was ignoring my secretary talking and was mindlessly scrolling tiktok when suddenly a food review page popped up, and there it was Woody’s BBQ in lake Wales, Florida. I told my boss I was going to lunch and proceeded to drive 22 hours straight and did not stop until I hit the woodys parking lot. It was closed when I arrived so I decided to take a short 4 hour nap in the parking lot.When the establishment opened, I was first inside, and was greeted by the single greatest waitress I have ever encountered, her name was Orlyn. She was enchanting, helpful, and hands down the best person I have ever met. My experience was top notch, not just due to the food, but Orlyn and her serving magic. She was quick, enthusiastic, and an all around delight.Orlyn needs to be promoted to boss, handed the keys to the restaurant, and have the deed signed over to her immediately. I thanked God for her that day, and I even asked her to come back to New York with me to be my personal waitress. She declined and said her love for Woody’s could not be swayed.If you get the chance to visit this wonderful, incredible, land of bbq. Ask for Orlyn.Wade out ✌?
