“Some of the posters here are very out-of-date and inaccurate. The carts are new with GPS that works great, with very accurate yardage- you don't need to use your own rangefinder. The course condition has improved a ton in the last year- especially the bunkers and greens. Very fair greens which run true and fast. And most of the bunkers have been upgraded with excellent sand- not too fluffy, and not hard-packed This course layout is one of the most interesting you will play. Exceedingly challenging, demands accuracy but rewards a well-struck shot. The staff is first-rate, especially Wendy, Robb and KC. And the grill has a brand new menu with amazing pizza, and a selection of very good sandwiches. The on-course beverage cart is super, and Diana and Brooke do an exceptional job. The pace of play can bog down with so much play, but it's very rare that it's more than 4:10 even on the busiest of days. One thing that needs improvement is the quality of the practice facilities- the grass can use work. The tee boxes are also pretty chewed up with so much play. I play here all the time and think it's the best value in Sarasota.“
