We hadn't been here in years because we used to live equally close to Pier 22 the sister restaurant where we had generally good experiences. Now we are in Lakewood Ranch so we decided to come back and give this place a try. The restaurant is very nice and the service was great, but the food was very disappointing. We both had crab bisque which was more bisque with a hint of crab, bland, and lukewarm. I had the Niçoise salad which had a minimal amount of soggy overdressed greens topped with the usual ingredients with no dressing or flavor. My husband had scallops which were minuscule and few. Not sure we will be back.
We had a fantastic dinner at Grove! The service was absolutely impeccable — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The appetizers were delicious, the wedge salad was crisp and flavorful, the prime rib was cooked perfectly to order, and the drinks were spot on. Highly recommend for a great night out!
The new, recently launched menu is quite challenging, and we basically ordered our meals by default. Unfortunately my husband's meal had to be sent back and he was able to order a different meal that was just ok. I have to commend Billy, the manager, and our server, Hannah, who were very accommodating and truly cared. They took immediate charge of the situation in a most professional manner. They even comped us a free dessert. We have always liked The Grove and should they bring back the former menu or parts there of, we will definitely return. I gave them a 5 overall score because they deserve it. Only the food, in our opinion, was unsatisfactory. They are a very well run dining establishment.
Birthday celebration was made very special by assistance from staff and especially waitstaff, Kiki. Food generally good for all our guests with the exception of the lamb which was stringy and tough. Mussels, calamari, and seafood Cobb enjoyed by all.
Dinner was delicious. Our service was excellent.. our waitress was friendly , very attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our server, KeKe, was great & very attentive. The Happy Hour here is one of the best I've experienced, with a good selection of small plates & discounted full appetizers. Also, a good selection of hand-crafted cocktails. As far as main entrees, the salmon my friend & I had was overcooked & my husband's prime rib was just "ok". My friend's husband had the Osso Bucco, which he said was delicious & fall off the bone. If we were to go back again, we would choose just to have happy hour food & drinks or choose different entrees to try.
Had a wonderful experience at the Grove as always. The food was delicious and our waiter August did an outstanding job ....what a professional young man!
Thank you, Grove, for a wonderful breakfast celebrating our friend! You graciously accommodated about 28 of us for an early Sunday morning brunch, and we truly appreciated the extra touches you provided for our group. The food was delicious, and Danielle did a fabulous job taking care of us and supporting her co-workers. Jennifer, the manager was very helpful! :)
What a WONDERFUL discovery. We happened in during happy hour. Amazing service. Excellent menu. Exceptional food... I had like 3 small plates. Loved the speciality cocktails. Definitely will be back. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all around.

I was so disappointed. I got the lamb, it was sous vide so I thought it would be nice and moist. It was the driest meat. It was like powder. We also had a filet and it was the same, so incredibly dry. We paid a lot of money and left so unfulfilled. I do not suggest this place.

Had an outstanding meal with friends enjoying the specials on the Price Fix selection. I had Burrata Salad, Salmon with grilled broccoli on a bed of rice & Pistachio cake. All delicious made & heard similar feedback from our friends. However I must note that I was somewhat disappointed that there were NO vegetarian options on the Prix fix menu selection & the only vegetarian option on the entire menu was a Vegetable burger. I would recommend the Grove look into offering pasta or other vegetarian choices on the menu. Our waiters were excellent. Especially Roger.
Greg Campbell the Executive chef came to our table and talked with us. The food was outstanding, I had the grouper dish, my son had the osso bucco , and my daughter has the maple ginger salmon and everything was fantastic, presentation was beautiful, it is a must try in lakewood ranch

Jacque was excellent, couldn’t have asked for a better bartender. Will definitely come back solely because of Jacque’s customer service skills. Truly remarkable.

The food was very good - all three of us enjoyed our selections. The dining room was noisy when full, but as others left, it got better. Our server, Jamie, was outstanding and made the experience!
Nice outdoor table as usual and good server. Okay menu though not as diverse as in past years. Bread was not quality and blue cheese dressing isn't even recognizable: go for the vinaigrette. Wish they had more Mexican.
