“I returned today for more rotisserie chicken and it was really good. Very authentic Peruvian rotisserie , better than anyone in Broward County. It came w salad and fries and both sides are really good. The sauces are excellent, one w more flavor and the other spicy . Price is excellent and service is good . I hope they decide to open one in Fort Lauderdale, it would be a hit.“

“A long time fan of Pio Pio in Orlando, I just discovered this one in my backyard. Our server, Adriana, was a delight. She accommodated every request. We were sitting on the patio on a steamy night because we brought our dog (Yes! Dog friendly another plus), and despite the huge fans, mosquitoes were out. Adriana came with a can of Off. The ambiance is nicer than the Orlando restaurant with a large patio on the corner of Old Dixie and big TV for the soccer fans. Pio Pio food is delicious. From the soup (like the DR's sancocho) to the churros, everything was simply delicious.“

“Stopped at this location for the first time yesterday (Thursday) evening. I have also gotten a rice meal and been super satisfied with it but always want to try the chicken. Well, last night I did get the 1/2 chicken with two sides. For sides I get the garden salad and it was a nice size, with tomatoes and onions- Very Good. I also get the black beans, which went very well with the awesome rice that came with it. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and warm and well-cooked on the inside. Also had great customer service, from the young lady who took my order to the young man that brought my food out-he made sure to ask if I needed anything else, just be sure to ask. I didn't need anything else, but it was sure nice of him to state that. Not disappointed at all. I'll be back.“

“It’s been a while since I’ve visited this spot, but now that I work nearby, I can see myself coming by much more often. I’m always on the lookout for good food that doesn’t break the bank—and this place checks both boxes.

I ordered the lunch special: yellow rice, black beans, and a quarter chicken. Simple, but done just right. The rice was perfectly cooked—fluffy and flavorful. The black beans were well-seasoned and had that comforting, home-cooked taste. And the chicken? Tender, juicy, and full of flavor—not dry like you sometimes get at other places.

But the real win? The price. The entire meal came out to around $7, which is practically unheard of these days for a filling, freshly made lunch. It’s great to know there’s an affordable, reliable option nearby when I want a quality meal without the high price tag.

“Absolutely delicious. One of my favorite restaurants around. I had never before been to this location. Very clean and great service. The sauce bar was amazing, and fully stocked. Can’t ever get enough of those sauces. I normally always get the chicken breast, today I went with the steak. Both are great choices. The plantations were awesome as was the rice. Will be back!“

“I have been coming here for years. Generally staff is friendly and service very good. You do have to make sure they get the order right so I repeat back the entire order and check any takeout orders before leaving. The quality of the chicken suffered for a short time but they are back to being one of the best rotisserie chickens in the area . Moist and well seasoned with very good sauces. I hoping they keep it up.“
