“We have been wanting to stop in for awhile and finally we made it. To say it was worth the trip is an understatement. Aimee greeted us as soon as we sat down and offered samples. The beer was great, we tried several and were not disappointed. Aimee is very friendly and never stops helping the guests! The Wood Shed Grill, with Jason on deck cooking, was so flavorful, the chili is homemade and was amazing. THEN you put that chili on loaded tater tots - WOW, so yummy. We will be back, even with the 1.5 hour drive!!!“

“Grindhaus Brew Lab is the most unassuming little place with some of the best beer you will find in Florida! I had tried their beers before so I'm always excited visiting the taproom. Very trendy spot with cool artwork on the walls keeping with the Grindhaus genre. We tried the Grindhaus Dry and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor and the detail to the classic dry lager. There are always 15+ beers on draft, and I've tried them all. There is always a group of people playing board games or cards. But, it's always the best time watching all of the classic Grindhaus movies on the TV's with all of the other patrons. Just a fun little spot to hang out and enjoy some amazing creations! I will definitely keep going back!“

“This is the best brewery in the area. John and Bren run a very good operation. The place is always VERY clean, has good music, a nice outdoor area along the trail, and Bren is always having events and fundraisers for good causes. The beer here is always cold, with a menu that rotates with new creations that come out regularly. There is always a good mix of beer styles that suit anyone’s tastes. They also offer other alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic alternatives. It has a true community atmosphere and people are always friendly.“

“If you love Red Ale, you MUST come to Woodwright and try their Irish Red. It’s the absolute BEST around! The staff is awesome, the vibe is immaculate as the kids say. But truly, my fav spot on a Sunday to come enjoy the Florida sun and drink my favorite craft beer. You won’t be disappointed!“

“It has a great outdoor place and dog friendly. That was nice but I ordered the black bean burger which was terrible. It was the blandest/zero flavor Burger that I’ve ever had. And it cost $13, not worth it. The tater tots were good. I will not order that again“

“Amazing staff, wonderful beers and ciders. I tried the blood orange cider and omg I was hooked. I also ordered food, which I sadly didn't take a picture of, but it was delicious!!! I hate kettle chips, but theirs are perfect. There is plenty of space!!! Indoor space with AC, a garage without tons of seating and pinball machines, and an outdoor covered space. I will make the drive to St. Pete each time. Thank you guys for a wonderful visit.“

“CADE!!!! We were fortunate enough to discover SBB when we first moved to Dunedin about a year ago. The staff is so friendly and patient and informative. Plenty of games to play; pool, darts etc.,
When we saw a post that SBB was one of the few/first places to open the day after Hurricane Milton; we rolled in just a few minutes later. Cade was just getting started with a handful of us at the bar. Within 30 minutes... BOOM - place was packed and Cade handled the influx LIKE A BOSS!!!
So so so patient, fun, and entertaining.
TBH - craft beer folks can be snobs. And some customers did behave that way - which is sad.
But NOT CADE!
He patiently (repeatedly!) answered newbies questions with the grace and calmness that is so so appreciated especially during these trying times where our area tries to recover.

“I can’t say enough good things about Crooked Thumb Brewery in Safety Harbor, Florida! This place is an absolute gem for beer lovers and anyone looking for a laid-back, fun vibe. They always have an excellent rotation of beers brewed right on-site, so there’s something new and delicious to try every time I visit. From crisp IPAs to smooth stouts, their creativity and quality never disappoint—every sip is a testament to their craft.
The atmosphere takes it to another level with live music on most days, performed on their outdoor stage. It’s the perfect way to unwind—sipping a cold, fresh beer while enjoying talented local musicians under the Florida sky. The staff is friendly, the setting is cozy yet lively, and it’s just an all-around fantastic spot to hang out with friends or even go solo. If you’re in Safety Harbor, Crooked Thumb is a must-visit. “Hats off to the friendly staff! We were Florida July Sunshine hot after 1.5 hours at Tampa Bay Downs Golf Range and were looking forward to a cool TBBC brew and some ice water. Ginger was our server, awesome, she was perfect. We will be requesting her tables any time we return. She was kindly patient with us as we got our act together, ordered the ESPE Blonde and my better half greatly enjoyed the “The Last Days of Summer” sour. The food was surprisingly fantastic! They also have wood fire pizzas, which we will returning to try. Highly recommend!“

“Food was great, even for a mix of typical beach seafood and bar fair. Beer options were decent. Servers were kicking butt and smiling while they did it. Parking at the pass is always a bit confusing, just garaged it this trip. Its upstairs, but there is a common elevator.“

“Don't normally share reviews, but first time to this location. The beers are great personal fav is Bromosa, however the buffalo chicken sandwich is no crap write home about. Quailty of meat, amount of sauce, friedness, and coleslaw is a fantastic mix, will definitely order again!“
