This place is incredible. From the second you walk in the vibe is very positive and inviting. Jon the owner is so kind and is eager to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. The coffee is by far the best I have had in the area and is roasted IN the cafe! So cool I work here regularly on my lap top and truly enjoy the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Came in specifically for fresh espresso beans so I didn't try anything else. The place is clean, neat looking but the service was so so and in my opinion the beans are trash. I don't know if i got a bad batch but they are very weak. They brew very light, not much aroma either. They don't seem to be very fresh either. Do not recommend if you're looking for good espresso beans.

From the moment I stepped up to the register to order I realized that this was going to become my Go To coffee shop. The owner showed great pride in his fresh, home baked goods and the aromas were to die for. My friend and I had coffee and a breakfast burrito with the fresh guacamole and it was delicious. We both bought the fresh, giant (8oz) cookies to take home, and what a delicious treat that has been. Great vibe, great coffee, great food — what else can we ask for when they make sure everything they serve lives up to their motto “life is too short for shitty coffee”.

This place is hands down some of the best freshly roasted coffee you’ll find in the area. I’m officially hooked on their espresso blend. It’s bagged fresh right there. We live just south of Dunedin, and whenever I’m out, I make sure to plan my morning around a trip to Largo to restock. The food is amazing, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I’m so glad we discovered this place!

As a roastery, this was a disappointment.
We visited just to purchase fresh roasted beans. We previewed the choices online in advance, and went in to purchase their espresso blend. None of the blends we liked and saw online were in the store. We asked the person at the counter about availability and coffee blends, and she was unhelpful, neither knowing anything about what was in the shelf, nor willing to freshly bag a blend request for us.
Ultimately we choose the Wush wush. We wanted to purchase 8 or 12 ounces, but only 16 ounce bags were available.
The disappointment continued once home. The bag was not date stamped, and the receipt noted 'sept. whole bean discount'. Apparently, we purchased old beans. And yes, the beans didn't look like they were recently roasted. (Anything older than a week from a roastery is not fresh.) Being overpriced (relative to other local roasters) added insult to injury.
I was happy to support a local business, but this one is one-and-done. Perhaps this is a good place to stop and enjoy a cafe experience, but not as a local roaster for fresh beans.
Currently here from Wisconsin for work. After a workout at the close by Anytime Fitness I asked Grok for the best local coffee. It said D.O.D. and damn was it right! They had a Colombian roast called Capturra Honey on the bar and I had an amazing espresso of that. Well balanced flavor with a hint of citrus and full bodied tasty medium roast. Had their nitro too very good! Heading to the barber now they’ll love my energy 😅

D. O. D is the hidden gem in Largo. We come in regularly for their breakfast burritos. Excellent breakfast burritos. Coffees are good. And try a cookie for dessert. We also like their smoothies. A great place tucked away on Ulmerton.
