Overall, Lick It BBQ & Wood Fire Pizza was good and well worth the visit. I had the brisket, and the wife had the pulled pork sandwich. We both opted for the pineapple slaw for our side and... wow, that stuff was great. My brisket was tasty and moist, and at half a pound was well worth the price. The pulled pork was also an ample portion and also a very good value.
I enjoyed my sandwich, the "El Gringo" (variation of the Cuban sandwich). The pineapple cole slaw was new to me, but it was good enough that I ate it all. The staff was friendly and attentive and the view was amazing.
Staying at hawks cay and after a let down at the onsite restaurant the night prior we decided to venture out for dinner with kids. The food was amazing, atmosphere was great, staff was so nice. We will definitely be back!
