“Just 24 hours into our stay at Hawk's Cay and I've never felt so welcomed. That's entirely down to the staff, and two people stand out: Kaplan and Jacob at the Tiki Grill bar.
They were warm from the first minute, but what really got me was the next day — they welcomed us back by name. I also watched how they treated guests who were checking out, stopping to shake hands and say a genuine thank you. You can tell that warmth is real, not part of a script.

“Great food, peaceful atmosphere… cold drinks when we went to get them ourselves. Hostess was kind & full of smiles today on 4/3, bussers were on their game…. Our server Nick or Mick…kept disappearing to over past the kayaks, then to go eat and forgot he had tables or something…. Huge table walked out after searching for him…. We waited. We understand it gets busy…we drive down frequently from Fort Myers. BUT Nick/Mick Never asked if we wanted more adult beverages, took forever to order, had to ask about our order, had to wave him down multiple times as he came back from hiding by the kayaks for drinks. All waitstaff definitely noticed our displeasure except ours 🙃”

“Yummy ice cream and shaved ice, and incredible customer service! It was a hot December day and Robbie’s and Charli’s Shave Ice was the perfect place to get a snack! Large menu, multiple sizes, fast service (especially when you have tons of people and only one person behind the bus). We have members in our party with celiac and when asked if anything was gluten free, for celiac, they answered and even offered to show us the tubs of ice cream and flavor bottles! There was a mix up on our end and when I reached out later, the owners were incredibly helpful and understanding. This is definitely a small business you should support! The owners are great, service is fast, prices are decent, location is great, snacks are yummy! This will be on our list for when we come back to the keys! Also don’t miss the key lime pie ice cream!”
