We Brought a friend for dinner for her birthday last week. Totally disappointed.. 2 ordered scallops which looked terrific but weren’t great tasting.. the grits were not great, left uneaten.. the spinach was stringy and tasteless. I had steak and scrimp.. two small scrimp and a terrible steak. I asked if they put the spicy sauce on the side, as I have stomach issues.. absolutely not was the answer.. We’ve eaten at Turner’s before and the food and service were wonderful, but this visit was terrible. When we asked if we could eat outside the hostess (who I assume is also the owner) acted shocked and annoyed that we were asking to eat outside (why else would you have outdoor tables and seating? lol). Another amazing and tasty meal with fabulous, attentive service. Check Jack always knocks it put of the park. By far, our favorite place to dine. We are alway treated likely royalty. We drive 45 minutes each way and it’s well worth it!
