“It was evening and I had the chicken sandwich, which was edible and hot, but not quite fully cooked. We also ordered a waffle. The waffle station was a bit of a mess, but the waffle was fine.
In general, the kitchen area was pretty unkept and dirty — not up to the usual Waffle House standard. Overall, though, it was a satisfactory trip.

It's good for the soul because you can cerebrally relax and remember a world before it went sideways, and everyone started getting offended at everything. It's a minimum of 2 hours each time i go to get in and out. Not because I'm taking my time, but because I'm waiting between being seated... ordering drinks... ordering food... waiting for food... waiting for check.
