“Road trip to Alabama for sea turtle conference Always love experiencing local BBQ Big WoodBBQ was a 5star winner.. Robert & I tried 2 of house specialities, smoked.. fried.. then seasoned chicken wings & split order of fried spared ribs.. smoked then fried Baked sweet potato & slaw for sides.. excellent!! Restaurant had the feel of a hunt lodge with logs of trophies on the walls Wait staff was excellent.. if ever in this area again, will go back”

“Placed order over the phone for 2 buckshots belly busters! The fellow taking the order was kind and the food was ready by the time I got there. I was feeling a bit of a sweet tooth and got one of the peanut butter cookies. I can't describe what it was but when you taste it you know it's not your average sweet treat! Overall I've visited here on multiple occasions and have been very happy with this establishment. In town for storm work or snow bird running from the cold? Get a buckshots belly buster it'll warm you right up!”

“my husband and I are amazed and shocked to say the least. We are so use to our very own local waffle House we have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to get our food, the staff are always grumpy and complaining about something. The Live Oak waffle House is AMAZING. The staff is on point and super friendly, food is cooked right to perfection, and the store is spotless. They were busy as all get out, fully staffed, and we got our food less than 10 minutes and we were out within 35 minutes. Why in the world is our local Waffle Houses so slow??”

“Been to the 406 several times and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had! Me and my dad went. I ordered a blacked chicken salad and dad had the brunch breakfast. Waited over an hour for food. I never even got my salad after waiting. Ended up just leaving because of the service.”

“Heidi is our go to for special occasions, from our wedding to our daughter’s birthday celebration. She is kind, affordable, and great with brainstorming theme ideas. Both times we’ve ordered custom desserts from her our guests raved about them. My only advice is order more than you think you need if you actually want some leftover treats. Thank you Heidi! 🩷”

The coleslaw is spectacular and the homemade tartar sauce is delectable. The homemade ranch on the salad was fresh and delicious. The popcorn shrimp were a perfect size and the light batter was delicious! Keep up the amazing work you do and thank you for the soectular meal!!!”

“My husband and I went for quick dinner out on New Year's Eve. We ordered the Rodeo burger with fries. It came out fast, hot, and delicious. The fries were perfect too, crispy and well seasoned. Dinner was less than $20 and we will be going back now that we know it's there.”
