My wife, my mother-in-law, and I decided we wanted ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. It was really my mother-in-law's idea!! However, who doesn't want ice cream that can have it in their diet? So, we took a little ride to Live Oak Dairy Queen. Lake City Dairy Queen is closer. However, it's just not worth driving 5 minutes away, dealing with I-75 and Lake City traffic. My sister and I were on our way back from Gulfport, Mississippi. I had the special. Three pieces of chicken, fries, and gravy. It was delicious. I had water to drink because my sugar was a little high and I wanted a ice cream cone also, after I got done eating my chicken. The large vanilla cone was delicious also! I have always loved Dairy Queen my whole life especially as a kid. I'm from Arkansas so I only got to go to Dairy Queen couple of times but when I went it was a good experience. I live in Florida now in Live Oak and I've had Dairy Queen twice now the hamburger was amazing. But I went and got some barbecue chicken tenders I wasn't very impressed by them I thought they were going to be better but they were really small and I don't know I just didn't really like the taste much.
