We are French, and every time we visit Maison Blanche, we feel like we are traveling back to France. I’m a professional chef here in the Sarasota area and one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Restaurant owners (Chef and his wife) are wonderful host. Restaurant decor is elegant and simple. Service was professional and polished. Food was absolutely amazing. The presentations were simple but elegant. This is not fu-fu food. It is simply great tasting food with a refined presentation and it’s extremely complex in the seasoning and preparation. The chef uses just the right amount of herbs and spices to keep you on your toes trying to figure out the exact flavor profile. 90.00 per person 3 course Pre-fixe menu. I would have paid more considering the quality of both food and service ( don’t tell anyone 🤣) If you want to impress someone and be able to have a conversation without being bothered or trying to find your server or wondering when your next course is coming out. This is the place. A truly amazing experience flawless service and amazing food. Thank you Chef for a great dining experience. ( And your lovely wife).

We were on a quick get away to LBK from Atlanta. I love French restaurants! After a thorough google search I found Maison Blanche which was 1 mile from our condo. What a treasure!! Gorgeously decorated dining room with impeccable service and thoughtfully and skilled execution of the dishes offered. It was a true culinary experience. I started with the Frichasse Lobster appetizer which was comparable to an entre at most other restaurants. It never ceases to amaze me how light and delightful the cream butter sauce is fashioned by a true French chef. A skill I have never been able to master. It was a delicable delight! My husband chose the blue crab wrapped in avocado. Again it was quite large, fresh and beautiful! This restaurant is a true dining experience, so no rushing. Our next course, i chose the grilled sea bass on a bed of spinach, again with the most wonderful lemon butter garlic sauce! I highly recommend. My husband chose the baked grouper with potatoes. Also a light delicious sauce. For dessert I went with the chocolate souffle, one of my favorites. It was dense and light all at the same time and very chocolate served with rich cream. My husband got the apple tart- a French pastry fit for a king! We both loved it too. They ended to meal with a little chocolate truffle glazed with raspberry. Such a nice touch. Anyway, we have visited French restaurants all over the world and this little gem should not be missed! We met the chef/owner. They've been in business 23 years, so don't wait, lest he decides to retire. Also, all the wait staff is also French, such a wonderful cultural food experience!

Maison Blanche is a true gem. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Every dish impressed us, especially the foie gras ravioli, the lamb, and the lobster appetizer, all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The Chablis was a perfect pairing, and the desserts made for a wonderful finale. An unforgettable dining experience, highly recommended.
