Mr. Empanada is always tasty but very unhappy that I ordered a 25 count of mini empanadas and was charged $51.60 (with tax $48 without taxes) for the tray. Upon entering the store for pick up the menu states $38 for the tray. When I questioned the $10 difference I was told that it was because of the online order as the man walked off while telling me. Not cool Mr. Empanada. I order food for clients on the daily and I’ve never been charged a $10 hike on the in store prices unless...
This location has the best deviled crabs. They fry them when you order them and they're never fried ahead. They have just the right amount of crispness to the outside and are loaded with crab meat. I wish I didn't live 25 miles away, but I always treat myself when I'm on this side of town.
Under new ownership, thank goodness! Have always loved the food but the last owner/manager was the most miserable and rude human I've seen managing a restaurant in a while. The new owner is fantastic!
