“Very clean, very nice apartment. The pool and the staff were perfect! But, the big story is the wildlife. DOLPHINS, DOLPHINS AND MORE DOLPHINS!!“

“This is a near-perfect rooftop location with views of the ICW and Gulf all around you. The ambience is enhanced by the magnificent views and the terrific tapas that is their typical offering. We were very pleasantly surprised by the addition of a Sunday Brunch service which was the best we have had on the Gulf Coast.“

“Sarah was our server, and she was great all the way around. It was a Sunday at 5 p.m., and we were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant. I'm sure it has much to do with the hotel's business, but they were not busy that night. It made us wonder how good the restaurant would be, but that was pretty much nixed as soon as the food started coming out. I will say all of our dishes were extremely good, and we are foodies who often go out. For appetizers, you have to order the Mediterranean Pull-Apart Bread. OMG... Crack for sure. We also ordered the Mediterranean Flight of dips. Easily shareable for our table of 4. We also added the calamari and pepperoni; those three appetizers were perfect. You don't get a lot of calamari, but it was delicious. For dinner, I had the spaghetti D'Mari. It was excellent. Another person had the pork chop, which I was able to taste. It was large and done to perfection. Another person had the jumbo crab mac and cheese and the scallops.... --- excellent. The clam chowder was delish also. All in all quite a surprise and gem. The service, of course, was perfect as we were one of just a couple of parties in the restaurant by the time we left. Sarah was friendly and did a great job serving us. The only two things I would submit to improve are that they did not have NA beer. I'm sure the restaurant will start to see a market for this and mocktails. The other unimpressive plate was a side Caesar salad which was not well dressed. We'll be back.“

““Charcuterie? More like Char-cu-dreamy.”
Listen, if I were a mouse with a credit card and refined taste, I would absolutely blow my tiny rodent salary at Lolita’s Wine Market every single weekend. This place is cheese-and-meat heaven, and frankly, it should be illegal to have this much flavor under one roof.
First of all, let’s talk boards. You think you're going in for a cute date night, next thing you know you’re six cheeses deep into The Lola Board wondering if you should text your ex just to show them what they’re missing. (Spoiler: don’t. Just order more prosciutto.)
We went full send with the Gambas al Ajillo and Paella, and let me tell you, I blacked out from joy somewhere between “jumbo shrimp” and “chimichurri.” I came back to consciousness with a spoonful of Fire + Ice ceviche, which sounds like a Game of Thrones spin-off, but instead, it’s ahi tuna with lychee, jalapeño, and a granita that slapped me across the soul.
The dates (not your Hinge match, the edible kind) were stuffed with chorizo and gorgonzola, and I’m still emotionally recovering. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and possibly magical. If Cupid made tapas, this would be it.
Need to feel fancy? Order the Delice de Bourgogne triple cream and say it loudly so the whole patio knows you have impeccable taste and probably own a cheese knife set. Then hit ‘em with a duck mousse port wine pâté chaser because life’s short and pâté is a flex.
Wine? Yes, obviously. Pair it with everything. Pair it with your thoughts. Pair it with that internal voice that says, “Get the pineapple-date chutney too.” (Spoiler: It’s right.)
Pro tip: Don’t skip the spreads. The whipped feta and ricotta were so divine I briefly considered smearing them directly on my face. They come with ciabatta, but I could’ve eaten them with a flip-flop and still been thrilled.
In short, Lolita’s isn’t just a wine bar—it’s a lifestyle. It’s where cheese dreams go to be fulfilled, and where even the dates (again, the food kind) are stuffed with ambition. If you’re not here by sundown with a glass in hand and a beet carpaccio in your mouth, wyd???
I’d give it 6 stars if I could. One for each cheese-induced tear of joy.“
