“Pirates Pub is one of those places we come to every so often—and then we remember how good it is, which is exactly why we keep coming back. Cold beers, a great location, and a laid-back local vibe that never disappoints.

The food is consistently solid. The Pirate vs Burger was a standout—juicy, flavorful, and the fresh jalapeños gave it the perfect kick. We also had the clams in white wine sauce, and they were excellent: tender clams with a bright, savory sauce that was perfect for dipping. The fish dip is fresh and always a great start, too.

Service was great as well—Holly the bartender was kind, attentive, and made the experience even better. Reliable spot, great food, and a place we’ll keep coming back to.“

“Enjoyed dinner here with family while visiting over the Holidays in December. Went on a weeknight and no wait. Very friendly staff! Teenagers enjoyed the retro video game system right at our table. Our 7 year old had fun with the arcade games and indoor Cornhole. Lots of food options. Had starters of Fried pickles (flavorful batter), Coconut Shrimp (great mango chutney) and Gator Chomps (somewhat bland batter but good dipping sauce). Entrees included steamed shrimp and burgers which were all good. Great fun atmosphere but I imagine might be loud on a crowded night. Lots of outside seating on their balcony also.“

“I visit the Tampa area a few times a year, and every time I make sure to come here atleast once. The wine cream is phenomenal. My person is favorite is the Shipwreck with Frose or Sangria and the Chocolate wine cream on top. The wine itself is incredible and I always find cute things to buy in the shop as well.“

“We recently visited while on vacation and we could not have gotten better service, or a better waitress, thank you Micah! Even though it was super chaotic she still made sure that we were taken care of, between running back and forth to take care of all her other tables and everything else going on. She was so kind and even let us hangout longer while there was an incident going on across the pass that forced them to close when the power went out. She even gave us some frisbees to take home for our boy! We went back a few nights later just to stop in and say hello again. If you’re visiting and have her as your waitress/bartender, I am certain you will have outstanding service! 😊“

“I discovered this little gem the last day of my vacation two years ago. I was insanely hungover and my husband went to get me some of their chicken rice soup. OMG! The broth is so favorite, the chicken is tender, and it is topped with fried garlic, and cilantro. We finally made our way back a few years later, and I had to get some of this soup. I got two large soups to take back to Kentucky with me. The ladies that run the restaurant are so nice and accommodating. Please give them a try. You won’t be sorry.“
