Talking tacos….wow, they talk a lot! So much I couldn’t eat my food, one bit my lip. The food is mediocre if you can call it that. At least the burrito didn’t break up on me I’ll tell you that. They have some weird disco theme every night which is awesome. Has you feeling like you’re in a discotheque ready to get it on (probably why’s there’s a strip club across the street maybe more idk). The people there, wow, they sure know how to have fun. I saw this one couple making out with a taco, a talking taco at that. Overall I’d rate this place a 10…a 10 out 10. Joking they deserve a 2, for two reasons, they need to remodel and they need better….well food actually. Good day friends….(if I could call you that, ugh!)

Tacos were cold as soon as they came out. $16 for 3 tacos. Nothing about the tacos tasted authentic, the steak used was cheap meat. Just overall not a good spot to eat and I look forward to telling everyone I know not to come here.

Hip American taco joint, decorated dark w/ neon lights inside. Self order kiosks. Clean tables. Employees were nice. All the regular fare plus a few unique items like noodle soup and birria grilled cheese. Portions are big. Food was prepared well, but heavy for me. Try it for yourself.

Talkin Tacos has been on my list for a while, so I stopped in on whim tonight and I am absolutely kicking myself for not coming sooner!
I was instantly delighted by the laid back atmosphere with mostly dark walls covered in fun backlight artwork. The ordering process is a simple kiosk system (with thorough item descriptions) but that definitely doesn’t take away from the hospitality of the staff who greeted us and offered assistance if we needed any.
Speaking of the staff, service was speedy! We ordered two entrees, a starter, and a dessert and had our food out in 10 minutes or maybe even less. Genesis was delightful in checking in on us, and brought us all of the containers, lids, and bags we needed for our leftovers.
Lastly, but most certainly not least, the FOOD. I got the birria grilled cheese with tomato soup and fries and I will absolutely be back for another one soon. I’m confident I will be dreaming about this sandwich. The cheese of the grilled cheese is fried on one side and melty goodness on the other. The birria beef is significantly more generous than I anticipated based on the price. If you’re someone who doesn’t usually like tomato soup, I have a good feeling you’ll like this one! It’s cheesy, well seasoned, and has a thicker consistency which makes it great for dipping! I mostly used my fries as a vessel for soup, and have plenty to take home for seconds tomorrow.
If Talkin Tacos in Maitland has been on your list too, don’t be like me and wait. Check it out! Also they have Taco Tuesday specials and seasonal treats. I’d give you an update on the Guava Cheesecake, but I am just too full! You’ve gotta come try it for yourself.

I love this place! Came here before a movie and fell in love with it. Got the birria, mahi mahi, and bang bang shrimp tacos and all were amazing. The birria ramen was excellent as well! Alex has helped us out both times with amazing service and great atmosphere. Great prices for the amount of food too. Such a fun place for dates or hanging out with friends. Outdoor seating too! My new fav place in town.
