Not Michelin sushi but its about better than whole foods sushi (if you love sushi yk what I mean). The portions are huge, nice fat rolls filled with big pieces of meat and stuff. Very fair value

I was recommended to try out weight sushi by a friend who recently moved from Florida to Denver and knew that I was planning to move to Florida, so it was definitely on my list. I decided to stop by and was really glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered a soft-shell taco, shrimp tempura roll and a side of crab Rangoon fritters. Everything arrived hot and tasted fantastic. I’m looking forward to returning to try more dishes from their menu. I think the pricing is quite reasonable. The restaurant's decor is expected nothing eye catching it inviting, especially the patio. I do love the window into the kitchen, which is located in the hallway. The service is quite self-guided, mostly involving you ordering at the counter and then having the food brought to your table. Overall, I’m excited to go back and explore more of what they offer.

If you’re in the Maitland area and suddenly craving sushi, Wave Sushi will get the job done.... just don’t expect to be blown away. The sushi is decent, but nothing that really stands out from the crowd. The rolls are average in both size and presentation, pretty much what you’d find at most local spots.
The shrimp tempura, though, deserves a small shout-out... it had a nice crunch and good flavor, easily the best part of the meal. Service was fine, atmosphere casual, and prices fair for what you get. Overall, it’s a good option for a quick sushi fix, but not necessarily a place you’d go out of your way to visit.

I’d been wanting to bring my daughter for a while, and she loved it. The service and food were excellent, and the atmosphere was calm and beautiful. The experience was amazing and the food was to die for!

Customer service? Top-notch. Location? Top-notch. Food? Absolutely top-notch! Step in and surf the wave to a whole new world — it’s like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but for sushi lovers!
Very good! Unique and fun concepts.

We've been to the Wave location in Mt. Dora and were excited to try out this location! It's definitely more of a fast casual setting, but the food is still incredible. The location is better for us so we are here more often. The best sushi in Central Florida by far! We love Wave!

Set up as a fast food joint. Not really what you expect at a sushi restaurant. I get that it is a niche they are trying to be in, but for what you got it was a bit on the expensive side. I hear the original location is better. Maybe I will try there. Food is ok, more about appearance.

The tacos were sooo stiff & rubbery I could not eat them.
Idk what happens between the time I place the order to when I picked it up 20 mins later - I tried to eat the crab taco in my car and it was like stiff and stale feeling and not crispy at all.
The salmon taco was the same, super stiff, could only eat the salmon and rice separately, but the actual taco portion was inedible.
Such a shame because I’ve had both from the MT. Dora location and I’ve taken them to-go with no issue whatsoever.
The crab Rangoon fritters are good - the OG ones at Mt. Dora, again…better.
The Love Roll was good.
Probably won’t be back to this location again. I love Mt. Dora location and was super happy to have one closer to Orlando.

Taco Tuesday is the best deal in town and my fave sushi item ever! Can't wait for them to bring back the mini hotdog I had at their pop up last year!

I really wanted to like this place but I think I ordered the wrong thing on my first visit. I ordered the Sushi Crunch Wrap and it was massive and hard to eat. The flavors were nice but the tempura taste/smell was a little overpowering. I plan to give the place another two but order some more traditional and smaller dishes. I will be back.
