Let me start with the crab rangoon fritters with mozzarella. They were everything I thought they would be, ooey gooey with a perfect mozzarella and crab filling ratio. For rolls, we went with the Philly roll and the hot roll. Both were delicious. We will absolutely be visiting WAVE Sushi - Maitland in Maitland, FL in the future!

We were super excited to have a WAVE sushi so much closer than the Mount Dora location, it is over an hour drive for us, but we have been many times! This location is small, but it works....and the service was quick and thorough. We LOVED the Crab Rangoon fritters, a simple must try!!! The OG hot dog is big and pricey, but very good flavors....although a lot of rice for the "bun". The sushi fries were good but had a slightly odd flavor that i did not prefer....but mostly good. We will be back to try more new things and for sure get the crab Rangoon fritters again!!

Service was super friendly. The place was clean and decent amount of seating. They have outdoor seating but furniture was wet due to rain. The food was good. I will say the burrito can be split among two people. I couldn't eat all of the burrito. The fritters were super yummy and would get it again. The nachos were crispy wontons so that was yummy. My husband wasn't a fan of the burger as it was too much rice and way too big to eat as a burger. He broke it into two slices but then it had less krab to spread on both buns. I want to try the tacos next time.

I've been to the Mt. Dora location and this is an extension of that in Central Florida. It's a foodie experience, so if that's what you're into, this is the place to go. I added on fried and coated with flamming hot cheetos. The fry oil takes the spicy out of it and can make the food very heavy. I should have come hungrier. Will be coming back.

A new location for Wave. I have watched their amazing creations on Instagram for a few years (they have a Mount Dora location). This is definitely not your average sushi. They have creatio s looking like pizza, hot dogs, and hamburgers plus so much more.
The food was good. My wife had a regular veggie roll and really enjoyed it. I had a spicy tuna pizza. The pizza was chock full of fresh ingredients and looked beautiful on the plate. My only knock on the food is that the pizza was extremely hard to eat, those who don't like messy food will want to skip it. Otherwise the flavors were on point.
The dining room is small but not cramped. They offer some seating outside. Wave is in a new collective space with a pizza place and a Foxtail coffee. If coffee is what you are after do yourself a favor and head across the street to Blackbird, the coffee is much better.
Vegetarian options: Small veggitarian selection.

Wave has down it again! I originally found them in my Dora so I thought I give this place a chance . It is phenomenal there are some old favorites and some new favorites! The sushi fries are a must and the fritters are to die for ! But the sushi … it is just great quality! Feels like a Michelin star without paying the Michelin prices.
