Not Michelin sushi but its about better than whole foods sushi (if you love sushi yk what I mean). The portions are huge, nice fat rolls filled with big pieces of meat and stuff. Very fair value
I was recommended to try out weight sushi by a friend who recently moved from Florida to Denver and knew that I was planning to move to Florida, so it was definitely on my list. I decided to stop by and was really glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered a soft-shell taco, shrimp tempura roll and a side of crab Rangoon fritters. Everything arrived hot and tasted fantastic. I’m looking forward to returning to try more dishes from their menu. I think the pricing...
If you’re in the Maitland area and suddenly craving sushi, Wave Sushi will get the job done.... just don’t expect to be blown away. The sushi is decent, but nothing that really stands out from the crowd. The rolls are average in both size and presentation, pretty much what you’d find at most local spots.
The shrimp tempura, though, deserves a small shout-out... it had a nice crunch and good flavor, easily the best part of the meal. Service was fine, atmosphere...
