Joey's Pizza & Pasta House

Waitress was mediocre at best- not friendly, not helpful. Did not come back to ask for second drink or a long time after food arrived, which was delivered by someone else. My recommendation would be take out- don’t stay for bad service.

This was the absolute WORST experience I’ve had here In Marco . It’s a Monday night we called to order pizzas for our family gathering and we called and spoke to Tracy the manager . Tracy advised us it would be 2 hours for delivery and 30 minutes for pickup . We proceeded to get there about 25 minutes after we called . We spent $150 on pizzas and wings . My fiance stood at the door for over an hour waiting for our food making it an hour and a half for takeout . The girl kept walking back and forth to the kitchen and there was other clusters very aggravated and mad in the same situation. We finally get back to our condo with the food and they didn’t even give us our 12 BBQ wings . We also got charged 2$ each order for ranch and celery which we also DID NOT GET . When I called and asked to speak to Tracy she was absolutely rude and disrespectful advising us that we are liars and she took the order personally and she never quoted us 30 minutes. She never ONCE APOLOGIZED- told us we couldn’t order the wings that we were missing and said I’ll just refund you the 22$ for the 12 wings we were missing and nothing for the celery or ranch that was $4 in total . We have yet to receive the refund and she hung up on me . Absolute TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . For a manager , if you can’t handle customers under stress . Don’t be one . That’s all . Steer clear of this place

Joey’s Restaurant is fantastic — warm, welcoming atmosphere and consistently delicious food. The staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and our dishes arrived promptly and perfectly prepared. Portions were generous and flavors well-balanced; you can tell they use quality ingredients. Great spot for a casual dinner or special occasion — highly recommend and we’ll be back.

This was our second visit, and unfortunately it will probably be our last.

When we arrived, the hostess told us there were no tables available inside because they were all reserved, so we were seated outside. Within minutes, my daughter ended up with around 12 to 15 mosquito bites. We noticed that other customers kept being seated inside, so I politely went back to the hostess and explained the situation. She was understanding and found us a table inside.

That’s when the experience went downhill. Our waitress was clearly upset that we had moved inside. Instead of being understanding, she complained that she now had to bring the water, silverware, and everything else inside. I actually got up and carried the water to our new table myself because I felt uncomfortable, and she didn’t even acknowledge it.

A few minutes later, she came back and insisted that our table was reserved and that we shouldn’t be sitting there, even though the hostess had placed us there. At that point, we just stopped responding and tried to enjoy our meal.

The pizza was ok, which is the only reason this isn’t a one-star review. Unfortunately, good food can’t make up for poor service and an unfriendly attitude. We live in Florida and visit Marco Island often, but next time we’ll probably try another pizza place. There are too many good restaurants to spend money where customers are made to feel like they’re an inconvenience.

Pizzas are good with lots of varieties. Desserts are plentiful and attractive. Service is good and steady. Seating is abundant and TVs are conveniently easy to see. Aye Joey, see yas later, eh!

Best pizza on the island 🏝

The big issue at this place is the service! Year after year we come to Marco and try to give this place a go again but the staff seem so entitled! They are very unfriendly and not of service. It’s more like you are a burden to be there rather than a guest in their restaurant.

Pizza is good. We ordered a Caesar salad and there was a bug in it. They still charged us for it. There was also a bug in our water. The server acted like that was normal.

They also nickel and dime you for everything! Extra sauce? That will be $2… kids drink $4!

Not a place that puts their guest/customers first.

This place was amazing. It was my husband and I’s first year anniversary this past week, so we spent the weekend in Marco Island. I recently got gallbladder removal surgery so I’ve been on the hunt for restaurants that offer gluten-free options. Joey’s does offer these options and their pizza was so good. We also got a side of salad and their homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing was amazing as well. our server was very kind. The atmosphere was very beautiful and the restaurant was clean. My husband liked his food as well. Overall, we will definitely be back the next time we visit Marco Island.

What can possibly go wrong with good pizza and garlic knots? Nothing absolutely nothing except it’s even better when your bartender is Michael
