Probably would have gone 3 overall, but I can’t let this go. Came in with wife and son, asked to be seated at a booth. Hostess rudely told us we couldn’t be sat there because they were very busy.

You tell me if this looks busy…and I took these on way out. No reason we couldn’t be accommodated. Was even less busy when we arrived.

Pizza was ok, nothing great. The one star rating is based on hostess and staff in general. No smiles, no conversation, not even a thank you on way out.

Won’t be back.

We love Joeys we come here every time we come to Marco. The Manager Johnnie is a great guys, they love our dog we always sit outside. Love the fettuccini with shrimp, you can't go wrong on the menu.

Don’t waste your time here. Host was not friendly or welcoming when we arrived. Sent back a pizza that tasted like the ingredients were rancid. Had one from our party puking after this place. Feel certain we were served bad food. The server was very sweet but everything else was just awful!

Joey's is amazing! Love their pizzas! We also tried their baked clams which were delicious. Our waitress was an older Hispanic woman who seemed very unhappy to be there waiting on us. It was our first night visiting Marco for our vacation, Saturday, 8/2. My sons first choice for dinner upon arrival was Joeys! Our group sat outside and we were excited to be there after a long day of travel. We tried cracking jokes with her, talking to her and she was not having it. All the other service we've had at Joey's prior has been great. Ive been traveling to Marco for nearly 25 years with family. This is the only time I would say we had a server that was having a bad day, and it showed. We still love Joey's and will back again. Highly recommend and a must try place!

I hadn’t been here since 2019 until this past week I decided to give it another try, twice in one week. The food was really good both times. Service was terrible and the first time I was the only table here. The waitresses disappear for 10 minutes at a time, leaving us without drinks. 2 different servers might I add. The upside is the garlic knots are to die for so maybe I’ll just place a to go order for now on.

We go to Marco every year for a week, and since we discovered Joey's it is always on our must-do list. This year my kids discovered the Mocktails, and really enjoyed the berry mockjito.😁

Yes, Joey's is a bit pricey, but 1. EVERYTHING on the island is pricey, and 2. you WILL get your money's worth at Joey's (and a very satiated belly!).

On 7/28 we celebrated our 7 year old daughter’s birthday and Joey’s Pizza, and it was nothing short of amazing. All she wanted was some good Italian food and to have the staff sing her Happy Birthday, and Joey’s went above and beyond to make that happen.

We called ahead to let them know it was a special occasion, and from the moment we walked in, they were ready to celebrate. The manager personally greeted our daughter, wished her a happy birthday, and made her feel like royalty. Throughout the meal, he stopped by our table just to check on her and make sure she was having the best time.

The food was absolutely delicious! The calamari, penne alla vodka pasta and the pizza were all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Portion sizes were generous as well.

However, the highlight of the evening was the birthday surprise at the end. The staff gathered around to sing Happy Birthday to our daughter, presenting her with a beautifully decorated slice of chocolate cake and ice cream. It was such a sweet, thoughtful touch, and the look on her face said it all. She hasn’t stopped talking about it since!

We’re so grateful to the team at Joey’s Pizza for making our daughter’s birthday so memorable. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines great food with such genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
