We have eaten at Korals many times over the past several years. This was the first time I recall that making a reservation was possible. We picked a 6:30 pm time slot. Our table was immediately available but it was also positioned immediately beside the bar so we were in the thick of the bar crowd. We did not ask to be moved but the noise level was very loud and energetic and prevented normal conversation. A server came to our table in under 10 minutes and because we worried we'd never see anyone again, we had our complete order ready. The server and the manager seemed frazzled and the server admitted they were very busy. There seemed to be more 4 top tables than during prior visits, and there was a bar around the fish tank that hadn't been there before where people were enjoying drinks and possibly eating, so more people overall than in the past. Everything was served within an acceptable time frame and was on par with our previous visits. We ordered 3 appetizers, some nigiri, 3 sushi rolls, and a drink apiece. Would I return? Yes, with some modifications. Don't go hoping for dinner during happy hour, which seemed to wind down around 7-7:30. Try not to sit near the bar if you want to be able to be heard. The food was fine, not the best we've ever had but I'd eat it again. If we had been there with our kids and grandkids, the energy level and time might have worked. For the 2 of us, it wasn't great.
The food was pretty good. For a hotel I don’t think the price was unreasonable.

Arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and was seated right away (that's the end of the good part). We then waited for 50 (fifty) minutes before anyone came up to us. The manager had walked by and said quickly “someone will help you soon”, but no one came. I counted 7 other groups come in after us and all were given service. We didn't even get a glass of water. It honestly turned into a personal experiment after 30 minutes to see how long it would take for someone to come up to us. We left at the 50 min mark. I can't give any type of accurate score for the quality of the food / drink, but it did look good.
A very disappointing experience for such a high scale restaurant. Most of the food was okay, but definitely not worth the high end price. The service was abysmal and slow. I do not recommend the torched sushi rolls. They ended up having a funny aftertaste and I couldn't even finish mine. The dim sum, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, and shrimp tempura rolls were fine. Probably will not go back again.

Service was terrible and sushi was very disappointing. Very surprised as marriott rest are usually excellent
Korals impressed us so much we went twice during our stay. Night one was flawless, fantastic food and excellent service. Night two, the food stayed top-tier, but the service slipped a bit.
The Dragon Roll was the standout and an absolute must-order, and the eel and tuna Unagi were also incredible. The tuna quality was elite!! Good drinks, great ambience, especially by the fish tank. Despite a small service hiccup, Korals is still a strong recommendation.

No go for those with celiac. They do not have accurate gluten markings and they almost served dishes with gluten. Staff was not helpful.
