Korals Sushi & Cocktail Lobby Bar

Bomb sushi restaurant that's in the hotel. We ate here several times while staying for work. I will be back next year and get some pictures.

Not sure why there are several negative reviews. We enjoyed eating at Korals twice during our stay at the JW. Smaller menu but everything was delicious and fresh! Would definitely recommend.

If you’re staying at the JW Marriott Marco Island (or even if you’re not), definitely make time for a meal at Koral. The food here is seriously good — fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavor.

We started with the ceviche, which was super bright and refreshing, and then moved on to the local grouper — cooked perfectly and so flaky it almost melted. The sides were just as good — everything tasted really fresh, not overcomplicated. Even the bread they bring out is next-level. For dessert, we had something chocolatey (wish I remembered the name!) that was totally worth every bite.

The vibe is upscale but still relaxed — you don’t feel like you have to be super formal. Service was great too — friendly and quick without feeling rushed.

If you’re into seafood or just want a really good meal with island vibes, Koral is 100% worth checking out.

Over priced, took over an hour to get 4 items. The sushi was mediocre at best tbh. Charged $7 for a fountain club soda for a child which seems ridiculous

The sushi rolls are one of the best I have tried so far. The drinks are really low quality, no taste. Philly roll is the best one there.

No hostess. Tip included without your permission. Ridiculous wait times. Terrible service, expensive and kids screaming everywhere.

The sushi bar was phenomenal. The tuna tar tar and the eel roll was the best! The dessert was great as well. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone in

We decided to dine there because all other places closed at 8pm, and this was the only one open at the resort. Despite the negative reviews, I found the sushi to be the best I've had in a long time. It was incredibly fresh, a generous portion, and simply outstanding.

As soon as I set down waiter came and HANDLE the menu and asked what we want to drink. I already knew from the tip of my tongue and ordered two drinks. I opened the menu and choose my choice is sushi. When she came back with the drinks she said that kitchen was closed!!!! I went there to eat and it wasn’t professional to get our drinks and handling a menu know that food wasn’t served after 10 pm. Note: the website also does not say it. It says open UNTIL MIDNIGNT!!!!!

We didn’t actually eat food here. We came here for pre-wedding drinks. So, I’m giving the drinks 5 stars.

We came to the restaurant around 4pm. It was empty and we went to the bar to get drinks.

I had never tried an espresso martini. This was my first one, so I may not be the best judge- but for me, it was SO GOOD! I LOVED it! If you’re a martini aficionado, then you may have a different opinion. My friend also ordered one and loved it. Another friend ordered a rum and coke. The coke was flat, but they went and changed the filter and gave her a new one.

We sat by the restaurant window- we had our choice of seats. We enjoyed the view and our drinks. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to charge the drinks to our room.

I’d love to return here for dinner sometime so I can give a more accurate review.

Sushi, edamame was good. Vegan options available. When we checked in we were given two free drinks. When we requested them the waitress was no longer so friendly. Otherwise a good place.

Nice atmosphere and good food but why not have a host stand. The seat yourself is so annoying and stressful it makes me not want to come back. You're losing money by not having a host stand. When I walked in there were multiple tables with small groups sitting at them. Could have more customers sitting at once if a host was there to organize it. No one wants to have to fight for a table it's so strange.

Dietary restrictions: All they use is gluten free soy sauce and were accommodating for other allergies

Agree with most of the comments. Horrible food and service but nice atmosphere in the best hotel on the island. It’s a shame they don’t recognize this and step it up. I go to the JW a few times a year but will never eat here again until it
