Food is excellent and they have a very hard working staff, say hello to Bambi
Made a live Band leave in the middle of a gig that was booked there due to the type of music (Latin music) & failed to pay them accordingly. Also fabricated the reason of the band departing to keep the crowd “calm”. Very unprofessional and disgusting.
Band had everyone up and dancing to Latin music. Manager not only asked them to stop playing … but didn’t pay the musicians. Ridiculous. Told the crowd a bunch of lies as to why the band stopped playing. Band left because managar told them only to play “American” music. We were all having a great time. Very sad and unprofessional.

Sand Bar is a friendly bar and a great place to go on Marco Island. It is described as a dive bar, but a great one. The food is great, with specific mentions of the Philly Cheese Steak, Gyro Pita, Wraps, and peel and shrimp. The grouper sandwich is also noted as being great. Evening specials look fabulous. Beverages include cold beer, excellent draft Yuengling for a good price, and favorite cocktails. The double shots are not a terrible price. The bartenders are lovely. It is a good time with good music. While there is no more outside seating, it remains a favorite local spot that isn't completely full of college students.
