The grilled shrimp were excellent. Perfect grill flavor. Fresh and juicy seafood. A very delicious meal. ⭐
Food was very good. They have a large menu from several cultures. With daily lunch specials you should be able to select something to your liking.
Staff is very friendly.

I am beyond upset and genuinely concerned about how this restaurant handles their food.
I stopped in after leaving a nail supply store nearby and ordered the early lunch special — a ¼ chicken with rice and beans — at 11:32 AM, shortly after they opened at 11:00 AM. While waiting for my order, I watched a young lady cutting up chicken with NO gloves on and placing it into a metal drawer underneath her workstation. There was no indication of how long those chickens had been sitting there. That was my first red flag.
When I got to work and tried to eat the food, everything had a weird smell and taste. Not even sauce could hide it. I stopped eating immediately. The rice and beans were stale, and the quarter chicken had a strong reheated, cafeteria-style taste with a rubbery, unpleasant texture. The food did not taste or smell fresh at all.
Given how early it was in the day, this raised serious concerns for me about freshness, food handling, and quality control. There is no way food purchased 30 minutes after opening should look, smell, or taste like this. I did not feel safe eating the chicken.
When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, the only thing offered to me was a store credit, not a refund. Being offered credit for food I felt was unsafe to consume is unacceptable.
What made this even more concerning was what I saw when I looked at the chicken more closely. The meat looked gray and dull, had a dense, rubbery texture, and looked compressed and off, not like the normal texture of freshly cooked chicken at all. Just looking at it was enough to make me stop eating it completely.
This is not a small issue. Poor food handling and lack of freshness can seriously put people at risk, and situations like this can make someone very sick. Management needs to take food safety and freshness far more seriously than this.
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:
Instead of worrying about me, my mental health, or why I choose to warn the public when I have a bad experience, you should be worried about your own documented history with food safety.
Since you avoided addressing the food altogether, I did the work for you and reviewed your DBPR inspection records. What I found directly mirrors everything I said.
PUBLIC records show multiple inspections with high-priority violations, including STORING COOKED CHICKEN.
That is not my opinion.
That is DBPR documentation — and it has happened more than once. 2023 and 2024 and here we are in 2026 and it’s the same thing. So yes — I hope you enjoyed your visit from the health department, and I genuinely hope those violations they found today are addressed promptly so customers are not put at risk by improper food handling.
People can read my review. They can read your response. And they can read ALL the inspection reports.
All three are public.
Be Blessed!
