“Terra Craft Sandwiches 231 W. Hibiscus Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32901 5 Stars Terra Craft Sandwiches is a relatively new fast-casual sandwich shop in Melbourne. The counter help today was Andrea. Andrea was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu. I put in an order for a Brisket, a Ribeye and one Chicken Salad sandwich. Taking in the environs, I snapped a few pictures and before too long, our order was up. Heading back to a table, I took some pics and commenced dining. One bite into the Brisket sandwich and I knew that apparently someone finally got the HINT! The Brisket was slow-cooked to a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The bread was freshly made, thickly sliced, warm, and tasty. However, the stars of this show were the root beer sage BBQ sauce and house-made pickles. That's right. They make their own pickles in the back! Forcing myself to move on, I grabbed the Ribeye sandwich and stuffed it in my pie hole. Made of shaved ribeye, white cheddar, braised scallions, chimichurri aioli, refried bean fondue (I didn't even know there was such a thing) and shoestring taters, this was to die for. I had to double-check on my phone to ensure I was still in Brevard County. Yep. I was. Unbelievable. Reaching for the last sammich to be tested, I ripped into the Chicken Salad sandwich like there was no tomorrow. This was certainly a Chicken Salad sandwich like I have never had before. With slow-roasted Cabernet grapes, shoestring sweet potatoes and roasted chicken breast on a flaky flatbread, this had to be the best Chicken Salad sandwich ever concocted. As I have said repeatedly, the engineers have doomed this county when it comes to good food. That said, as I was dining, in walked Glenn. I immediately pegged him as an engineer. New Balance running shoes and an overly tucked-in shirt were my first clues. All he needed was a pocket protector and a Honda Accord. Anyway, I asked him why an engineer would eat here. He replied, “Because the food is outstanding. The price is a tad high but worth it.” Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe engineers will fork out some moola for quality food. All this food is made on-site by a chef with mad skills, and boy, oh boy, does it taste like it. Hallelujah, Michelin! We finally have great food in Brevard!! The Big Boy says, “If you don't like this food, I will personally come over to your place and hammer you with a pillowcase full of pocket protectors and slide rules.””

“Wonder Waffle is a delightful spot for anyone who loves waffles. but even better they also have amazing ice cream. The menu is creative, offering both sweet and savory options that are perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. my mom's waffle dish was so beautiful. All the ingredients are clean and fresh. I highly recommend the Dubai chocolate milkshake. it was amazing but all the milkshakes we tried were 10/10. The service is quick and friendly, and the cute atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out with friends or family.”

“Took myself on a date today! I wanted to try a new place, Osaka was AMAZING. First off; the staff were so friendly, accommodating and quick. I got the most refreshing honeydew boba tea, some of the best miso soup with plenty of tofu in it(my fav) and the “out of control” roll. This roll was filled with salmon tuna, white fish, avocado. On the inside of the roll there was torched salmon, tuna, white fish, Japanese mayo, spicy mayo, ell sauce and scallion’s. A small place but the flavors and staff are mighty! I will definitely be back!”

They were even thoughtful enough to send two six packs instead of the larger box and separated the chilled cookies from the regular ones so it was super easy to store everything when it got here. “Botta Neapolitan 7500 Lake Andrew Dr. Viera, FL 32940 New Number 1 Pizza in Brevard. 5 Stars I don't know about you, but when I hear the word "Neapolitan," I think of two things: the first being ice cream, the second being Napoleon. The ice cream is legit, as the word stems from Naples, Italy. It means, in this case, ice cream from the city of Naples. Neapolitan, in general, refers to food and/or culture influenced by a city (founded by Greeks in the Neolithic period) that is one of the oldest continuously inhabited urban areas on the planet. Talk about history! Why does Napoleon come to mind as well? Other than similar phonemes, I don't have a clue. Upon research, and by that I mean Google Translate, Botta means blow as in to strike. In other words, this place serves up dishes that will knock the Naples into ya! Oof-da! Anna was my service pro for this meal and after dealing with Shemene the Mean, she was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and helpful. I asked Anna for a Caprese salad (against my EIC's recommendation, as he says you should never order this in a restaurant), some meatballs, sauce, and bread, along with a Four Cheese Pie, and some iced tea with which to wash it all down. The back was hoppin' as much as Anna was, as my food was out in no time. I now refer you to the food pics. Starting with the starter, I dug into the Caprese salad. The Basil was fresh and delicious, the cheese was good; however, the tomatoes were a few days shy of being fully ripe. This was the only weakness found on the table, but I get ahead of myself. Moving on to the homemade meatballs, sauce and bread. This was outstanding. Everything was made in the back. The flavor of the meatballs hit my palate like Sonny beatin' Connie's husband on the stoop. Hard, fast and powerful. The sauce was complex, not too sweet, and bursting with the essence of the City of the Sun, that is, Naples, Italy. Not only is Naples known as the City of the Sun, but it is also known as the City of Pizza. This brings me to the final item on my taste buds, the Four Cheese Pizza. Naples is known for their thin-crust pizzas and fresh ingredients. Botta Neapolitan must have theirs shipped via the SR-71 Blackbird because this pizza was amazing! I have such a strong dislike for the bread and ketchup "New York" pizza that is so prevalent in Brevard. I also don't like the fried unleavened bread of Mister 01. This, however, was straight from the Pizza Godz. The crust was thin and flaky on the inside, and it was delicious. The sauce was complex, not too sweet, and... wait, I've covered the sauce. The cheese was freshly grated and piled high. If they aren't making their cheese in the back, it's the only thing missing. Because, wow. This might be the best Pizza I've ever had. That's saying a lot. I've had tons of pizza! I love pizza! Who doesn't? The Big Boy says, "I'm gonna go 5 Star regardless of the woefully under-ripe tomatoes. THIS IS OUTSTANDING FOOD and the new Numero Uno Big Boy Pizza Joint. Go. Go now."”

The service was tremendous. They don't let your water or coffee cup get empty and they make sure they give you all the attention you need.”

“Surfin' Turtle Ice Cream Shop is such a fun and unique spot! The atmosphere is cute, and we loved that they have live tortoises you can feed, which made the visit extra memorable. The drive thru option is super convenient, and the staff was so friendly. The ice cream was so good we ended up stopping by twice in one day! Highly recommend checking this place out for both the treats and the turtles.”

The cabbage wraps, Irish Stew and potato balls were great. My husband’s shepherds pie was mostly potatoes, almost no pie filling. He was very disappointed.”
