What an amazing breakfast place! Highly recommended. I love to make your own pancakes. They also have a lot of other fun food on the menu but really unique location and great atmosphere. The service was tremendous. They don't let your water or coffee cup get empty and they make sure they give you all the attention you need.

Tried Backwater for brunch and went with something a little different…. the Gator Waffles. Honestly? Totally worth it. The fried gator was hands-down the lead flavor of the plate. Crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly tender. way better than I expected. It came on top of this orange zest waffle that had just the right hint of citrus, and the candied orange peel added a fun little sweet twist. The candy peel was a great addition to the plate. Very unique brunch spot, griddle tables are must but the hot table makes it a bit uncomfortable if you sweat easily. But overall all the food is great and service is fantastic. This is one of my go to spots, never disappoints
