“I love this place so much. I love it even better than Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil. The food is such good quality and tastes amazing including the appetizers, the service is phenomenal, and it’s just always a magical time. Ask for Leila, Alejandra, Olga, or Martin. They are wonderful!!! ❤️❤️“
“In the 1990s, I was an exchange student in Brazil first in Fortaleza, Ceara and later in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. I also interned one summer at a law firm in Rio de Janeiro in 1995 when I was in law school. So I have many fond memories of the people, places, food, and culture of Brazil. This buffet at Sabor de Minas is chock full of authentic homemade Brazilian cuisine the way my Brazilian mothers (or their cook/housekeepers) used to make. In Portuguese there is an expression "matar saudade" which loosely translates into "hits the spot/scratches that nostalgic itch" when you miss something you love so much. I even get to practice my rusty Brazilian Portuguese when I come in here with the cheerful and patient staffers. I'm greeted with love just like I felt from my Brazilian host families back when I was a young adult. I now come in here regularly after yoga at the Yogi Perogi in the same strip for a hearty healthy meal and my favorite Brazilian soft drink, Guaraná.“
