I’m not quite sure what happened here. I was looking forward to a great NY slice of pizza on Friday at the tree lighting ceremony. What we got was a small slice that barley folded in half. When we spend $10 for 2 slices I was hoping for the large slice that you normally get.I’m thinking maybe because of the event they cut their slices in half. If so that was a bad move.If we go back we will watch before ordering. A NY slice of pizza does NOT fit in one of this single pizza boxes.Disappointed for sure.

I have been picking up slices from Downtown Pizza for years… the ownership changed recently along with the pizza recipe and the pizza definitely isn’t near as good. The price is slightly more but more importantly the slices are half the size and the dough and sauce aren’t nearly as good as it used to be. The new owner should have kept the same recipe! Disappointed!

Greeted on arrival and shown to our table, the waitress came fairly quickly and gave us water…. She then didn’t return for a fair amount of time and when she did was not very engaging or friendly, she seemed quite disinterested. On a positive the pizzas are simply delicious!

We passed by this place on our visit in 2022 and decided this year we had to try it. The pizza did not disappoint. Very good. Our service was very good as well.

Having just come back from a trip to Italy I truly appreciated the authenticity of the food here. This is the first Italian restaurant in the United States where I found burrata which is essentially fresh cream-filled mozzarella. It was perfect with the balsamic glaze (Burrata e Italian balsamic glaze). The pizza was also made with the typical Neapolitan-style thin crust and the Star Luca (along with the other Star XYZ) had an interesting spin with folded-in pockets and ricotta cheese. The service was excellent although the "competition" of who can get most reviews on Google seemed just like a way to get more reviews on there.

Been going here for years and this is the worst experience we had with them 45 minutes for 2 slices of white pizza. When they finally got to us it was a spinach pizza. Was told thats there new white pizza under new management. Slices where half the size they used to be, and staff was a joke of young kids that knew nothing. They definitely lost our business and everyone we know will be informed on our experience.
