We drove 30 minutes for a nice meal. The restaurant is closed. It's a Saturday, so they should be open. They look VERY closed. We didn't call ahead because they don't take reservations. Oh well. Pretty drive.
The owner was in the back pounding, breading and frying the Wiener schnitzel. The serving was bigger than me head and I got two meals out of it. The potato pancakes were crispy with a hint of onion. Cucumber salad was crisp, tangy with a hint of dill. For my next visit, I will get the sampler.
5 STARS!!!! Absolutely the best German food in town!!! The servers are fast and very polite, the chef is on point and the prices can not be beat! You get so much delicious food its almost impossible to eat it all, I always have a to go box! One of my favorite places to eat and sample all the different German beers on tap!
