I’m kinda biased since I work here, however, I was a regular here for around a year before I started working here. Boy, let me tell you, this place gave me a second home. I have met so many amazing people that have influenced my life in so many different ways. The crowd is always friendly, always motivating, always ready to give a helping hand, and will always have your back, no matter the situation.

Island Root Kava Bar EGAD is an amazing, chill spot for kava and Kratom with great prices. It is a great place for studying, spending time with friends, and meeting new people. The environment is super community-oriented and not like any other kava bar; it is a judgement-free zone for adults to hang out, unwind, and enjoy drinks collectively. The outdoor space has a sunshade, a “green room,” and comfortable seating for the outside stage with no obstructions. The food truck serves stooopid good burnt endz. Inside, the bathrooms are spacious, clean, and wheelchair accessible. The kava tenders and staff are knowledgeable, friendly, awesome, and wonderful. There is something for everyone at this clean and inviting destination.
