Recently moved to Melbourne from Connecticut and tried to find comparable favorites here. One of the last ones was a Korean restaurant. Tried Mangetsu and was hooked. Everything we have had there was delicious. What's great is that they not only have Korean, they have Thai and Japanese.

Mangetsu is always an amazing restaurant to go to. You walk in and recieve 4 things, delicious food, kindness, service, and a good dinner!! Every person is so kind and willing to help. I will never not recommend mangetsu, 1000% recommended!

When you want a variety of different Asian cuisine but can't decide where to go, go here! Korean, Thai, and Japanese all one place. From kbbq to noodles to thai specialities to sushi. The service was top notch! All of the food was delicious! I tried black soy bean noodles (Jjajangmyeon), kalbi, calamari and freshly made sushi as well as peach soju. Everything was delicious! Went on a Saturday afternoon and got seating but the place filled up quickly. There's various seating for different sizes of groups. Street Parking can be a little challenging but take a walk and walk the neighborhood and check out many of the cute shops along the way. I would definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I were craving Korean. We went here and were very happy. Banshan was a variety of Kimchi and daikon. The menu is broken down by cuisine with Korean, Thai, and Japanese. Many options to choose from with wonderful service. Located in Historic Melbourne, the size is small and I can see this place being crowded during peak season. We will be returning with our family and look forward to it.

The whole place smelled like black mold, and I left without finishing my drink. I didn't even want to order food. I asked for a grill table when I went in, but they are all broken right now according to the server that seated me. After that, I noticed that the outlets on the floor were in bad shape and that everything a couple of inches above the floor showed signs of flooding. The bathroom door was nailed together along the bottom. It was obviously water damaged and dragged across the floor. Even the chair legs looked like they were wet. My beer tasted like it had been stored warm, and yes, they store their drinks in the hallway by the bathroom. The whole place is warm and though not uncomfortable, it is well above a good storage temperature for beer and saki. I used to like them. I hope they fix their issues, but I won't be back until they do.

A place offering Korean, Japanese and Thai cuisine. These types of spots are typically not that good and Magentsu was no exception. The chicken bulgogi was just edible and the pad see eaw was overly sweetened. The teriyaki salmon was pretty dry. The super crunch roll was the best thing ordered and it was good, not great. Table grilling is no longer an option, makes sense as this space doesn’t appear to have the appropriate ventilation setup.
