THE BEST, Japanese and KOREAN AROUND. Their CHICKEN KATSU cannot be beat, and the only one that comes to a close second ive found is at SIAM ORCHID.
AND also the BOGUGI, IS TO DIE FOR.

This is probably the best Asian food in Melbourne. When you first walk in, it's pretty low budget looking. But the food in amazing and the portions are more than adequate. Everything I have tried here has a lot of flavor and never disappoints. The price is also very reasonable for what restaurants are charging nowadays.

Mangetsu in Old Town Melbourne is a true gem! We started with the Shrimp Tempura appetizer — perfectly crisp and delicious. I had the Yakisoba, which was flavorful and satisfying, while my wife loved the Green Curry — rich, aromatic, and full of depth.
What really made the night special was Amanda, our server. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish.
