This restaurant has been something of a staple to the Melbourne community for quite some time. However, I feel that over the years going here the quality is inconsistent. I have memories of some of the best Italian dishes ive eaten and also times where the food is just bland and lacking the quality ive come to expect. The service has always been good to me and the atmosphere is honestly incredible, really good outdoor seating. One thing in today's meal that was disappointing...
We always got our pine nut flour cookies and rum cake here. I shouldn't be telling you because I don't want them to ever run out. The food is absolutely delicious as well as the deli and desserts. And the atmosphere is fantastic.
I brought my wife to dinner for her birthday for a romantic quiet dinner. We were well received and enjoyed the clams linguine and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I don't believe you could be disappointed by any of their dishes or services. They have an authentic selection of Italian deli items and desserts. We have passed by the restaurant numerous times (on our way to the movies) but we won't pass it up when we think about going out again! Thank you to the team. Cheers...
