One of the true TexMex dining experiences. Coming from Texas I have high standards when it comes to cuisine from south of the border and this place nails it to a Tpost.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. Decided to give this place a try. Came in on a Tuesday night 8/19/25 for dinner. Got sat down at a table and was provided chips and salsa. Then we were forgotten about. NO ONE came to ask us what we wanted to drink or bothered to come by our table. There were many employees standing idling around doing nothing. Many employees walked passed us and served other tables. We waited for about 15 minutes and just walked out of the restaurant. Very poor service. Salsas, DO BETTER! Stay away from this place is you want to be acknowledged and serviced like how you should be at a restaurant!
Nice traditional Mexican food. Some daily specials as well. Staff was attentive and friendly. A little pricey, but portions were great and the Guac was awesome...very fresh.

This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.
The host and server was amazing....nvm the chips and salsa lady, she may have been having a bad day.
The food was amazing, the steak was absolutely delicious!
Prices are fair for the quality.
The atmosphere was inviting and it was extremely clean!
Will definitely be back!! Highly recommended!!

I’m genuinely conflicted writing this, because the food here is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Service has typically been solid too, which makes this all the more disappointing.
Last night, however, our experience was completely derailed. Our party, which included two small children, was seated next to a booth packed with seven or eight extremely intoxicated guests. The group was loud, profane, physically disruptive (slamming the table, shaking the booth), and frankly, appeared to include individuals who may not have been of legal drinking age. It was uncomfortable, bordering on unsafe — and not just for us. Other diners nearby got up and left.
What’s most troubling is that no one from the restaurant intervened. No staff member addressed the behavior, and drinks continued to flow freely to that table. When yet another round arrived, we decided to cut our evening short and leave — not just because the atmosphere was ruined, but because we didn’t want to share the road with that group afterward.
We took our food to go, and yes, it was as good as ever. But the experience left a bad taste. We’ll likely return, but it’s no longer the easy choice it once was. There are other nearby spots that manage their dining room more responsibly and prioritize the comfort and safety of all guests.
I sincerely hope management takes this seriously. A few unannounced visits from DBPR might help reinforce the importance of responsible service.

Update: since the business replied asking for another chance, I went back. Panchito “Benjamin” was there again. He spoke to my server in Spanish and pointed at me with a nasty expression on his face. It made me extremely uncomfortable and I won’t return to this restaurant again. There are plenty of other options for Mexican food around here with friendly and polite servers.
I’ve been here a few times and enjoyed the food and service. However, when I came here yesterday with my family, our experience was TERRIBLE! Our server, who said his name was Benjamin (receipt said Panchito) had a nasty attitude. He was impatient with us when we were ordering. He didn’t refill my water or check in to see how we were doing after bringing the food. When I asked for fresh guacamole, he said they didn’t have any. I asked for the regular guacamole in that case, and he also said that they didn’t have it. When he brought my dad’s food to the table, there was a side of guacamole with it! I asked if I could have that type of guacamole since they clearly DID have it, and he tried to argue with me and say that it was an appetizer. Okay and?? It’s what I ordered? Why LIE and say that they didn’t have it at all? I am a repeat customer at Salsas as I originally mentioned, but probably won’t be back after this incident.

Worst Mexican food I’ve had in Florida and that’s saying something. Chili rellenos were not hot, cheese was dry. Rice was dry and hard. Salsa no flavor. Guac was good but lots of tomatoes for filler and it was such a small portion for the price. Mahi tacos were unbelievably dry and fishy. Two stars only because the waitress was nice and the service was ok. Definitely not coming back here.
