My wife and I try to go there once a week she likes the the lobsters and the crab meat she has I always have the fish I always get some salmon or any fish they have I will try it's always good to have a little fish once a week and they do

We went for an early dinner. I had a cup of clam chowder and fish and chips. Everything was awesome!! Just wish they had clam cakes as an appetizer. Maybe they will think about putting on the menu with the chowder in the future. I will definitely be back!!!!

I've been to shells several times and the food was good, this time the waiter seemed to be preoccupied, got my order wrong, then when i went to eat my blackened talipi it was so salty I couldn't eat it, the veggies were over cooked and tough on the outside, only thing good was the sea food gumbo, Not a good experience ?

Shells is the absolute best for seafood as well as caring for their customers. Our server, Denise, is the best. This past Saturday they were swamped with customers, and we had a small incident ....no fault of our server. The manager immediately rectified the problem. Shells is our "go to" restaurant for delicious seafood.
Poor service and management. My child has a food allergy to celery. Lisa was our server, lots of heavy makeup and very little knowledge. I asked if there was celery in the clam chowder. She said it would say it on the menu. It didn't. I asked her to ask the kitchen. She said clam chowder never contains celery. I told her that some do. I asked her again to ask the kitchen. She finally did, came back and said it didn't. He ordered and quickly had a reaction. There it was, pieces of celery. The elderly female manager proceeds to yell at me saying she never heard of a celery allergy and they never use celery in the chowder, but it was next to the onions. I'm not sure what that was supposed to mean. I took it as the chef couldn't tell the difference between celery and onions. I have never seen such a Motley Crew of stupidity. I never once got an apology from any staff member. They also wanted me to pay for my meals that were never eaten, as I was dealing with my sons medical emergency.

Place was really good I highly recommend it to anyone at Melbourne. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was amazing made sure we had clean table and never a empty cup. I love the vibe of the place all the fishing and ocean stuff fits the name.
